On the hill of St. Martin lies a quaint chapel dedicated to St. Martin built in 1466. Two round images of St. Paul and St Martin adorn the wall behind the altar. Outside a small parvis enhances the rustic beauty of the ancient chapel.
Not far from this chapel is the St. Martin Grotto – a natural cave that was used for burial and later for human habitation and storage. It has been converted into a Marian chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes.
At Tal-Ballut are found several oak trees some of which are said to be 900 years old!
