Apart from many archaeological sites, Wardija Hill boasts of six `Jus Patronatus` chapels dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, St. Simon, St. George, Our Lady of Grace, St. John the Baptist and the most attractive chapel of Our Lady of the Forsaken. They were built by the noble families that owned the land to provide a place of worship for the farmers that worked their land. The area can also boast of a school which caters for students with a variety of special needs and multi-disabilities, dedicated to the late Dun Manwel Attard.
